Monika has mastered the field of trademarks. With a career spanning more than 30 years in IP, Monika is one of the most experienced individuals in the THK Legal team. Her diligence, persistence, expertise and tireless approach to problem solving are indispensable to the firm.
Professional focus
Monika specialises in conducting searches, assessing the possibility of trademark registration and trademark registration in the Czech Republic and abroad. With her extensive experience in managing trademark portfolios for domestic and foreign clients, Monika is a key person in securing and maintaining industrial property rights. In her work, she works closely with the Industrial Property Office, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) in Alicante. Its ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with nearly 200 foreign attorneys around the world enables THK Legal to develop and strengthen international relationships and provide superior service to clients and foreign partners.
Education and Language skills
Monika speaks fluent Czech and English. She received her education at the Gymnasium and then at a language school in Prague. She obtained her professional studies through specialized study programs at the Industrial Property Office of the Czech Republic.
Her experience and knowledge are invaluable to THK Legal and its clients, and Monika is an important and stable pillar of the trademark team.
