Irena is the heart and soul of the THK Legal team, where she has worked since the company's inception. With over a quarter of a century of experience, she is not only a key member of our legal family, but also an invaluable guide and advisor to all colleagues. Irena remembers everything - her high level of expertise and consistency raise the level of our services in the field of trademarks, patents and European patent validations - that is why she is the team leader.
Professional focus
Irena deals with a wide range of professional acts related to the protection of intellectual property rights - from trademarks, patents and EP validations, utility and industrial designs in the Czech Republic and abroad. Her very important specialization is the management and administration of trademark renewals and annuities - extending the validity of patent protection.
Education and language skills
After graduating from the Business Academy in Prague, Irena specialized in industrial law protection at the Institute of Industrial Law Protection of the Industrial Property Office of the Czech Republic and has been continuously developing in this field.
Her language skills in Czech and English are key to successful international communication.
Irena is not only an important member of the THK Legal team, but also a key point of contact for her colleagues for advice and support. As a mentor and trainer, she plays an indispensable role in the development and support of our team members, going far beyond simply introducing newcomers to the practice.
