This essential procedure must be executed within a three-month window from the date your patent grant, or its amendment, is published in the European Patent Bulletin.

We will guide you through the entire process of validating your European patents, specifically:

  • Management of translations of patent documents from English, German, and French into Czech and/or Slovak.
  • Comprehensive compilation and review of all necessary documentation and powers of attorney for EP Validation for each case.

  • A complete end-to-end process covering documentation, translation, powers of attorney, filings, and fee payments.
  • Timely delivery of detailed reports and patent documents upon the publication of your patent.
  • Provision of all services associated with the patent, such as revalidation, recording of changes or transfers, and payment of annuities, tailored to client instructions.

How does the service take place?

Order Letter

Based on your instructions, we compile and check all necessary documentation and prepare the Powers of Attorney for submission to the IPO office.

Initiation of the Validation Process

Once we have accessed your European patent text for validation, either received from you or directly downloaded from the office's portal, we assign the document for translation to the most suitable Subject Matter Expert for the specific field and specialization.

Check and IPO Filing

The completed EP Validation documentation undergoes a final detailed check and is subsequently filed to the Czech IPO, along with the signed Power of Attorney. We ensure that the official fees are duly paid and inform you about the submission.

Reporting Progress of the Case

Once the translated European patent is published by the Czech IPO and/or Slovak IPO, we inform you accordingly and send the patent documents directly to you.
