Jana Traplová is the engine and driving force behind THK Legal s.r.o. Professional focus
Jana provides comprehensive legal services in the entire spectrum of intellectual property protection, including enforcement and protection of rights and related matters, both in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and abroad. She specializes closely in the areas of trademark strategy, brand building and protection. She also applies his skills in anti-counterfeiting, internet domain management and licensing agreements.
Jana represents clients before national and international authorities, cooperates with a global network of attorneys and patent attorneys, and is actively involved in international IP law organizations. Jana's work is recognized internationally, as evidenced by her awards and positions in prestigious organizations.

Jana is a member and secretary of the Czech group of the International League for Competition Law - LIDC, member of MARQUES, AIPPI, ECTA, INTA and other organizations. Her expertise and leadership have been recognized by being named one of the Top 250 Women in Intellectual Property and one of the Top 100 Women in Legal Business in the Czech Republic in 2023.
Education and language skills
Jana is a graduate of the Faculty of Law in Pilsen, where she defended her thesis on the European Community Trademark.
She is fluent in Czech and English, which enables her to work effectively in an international environment.
