Zuzana Bartošovičová

She has several years of professional experience and a number of significant achievements in these areas. Her ability to effectively resolve conflict situations and her efforts to find amicable solutions to disputes are repeatedly appreciated by clients, foreign counsels and colleagues.
Professional path and focus
Zuzana primarily represents clients in out-of-court, administrative, and criminal proceedings related to counterfeiting and unfair competition. Her work also includes representing clients in trademark matters before the Czech Industrial Property Office and the EUIPO, as well as training customs officials. Additionally, she provides expert advice in the fields of trademarks, counterfeiting, unfair competition, design, and its protection through industrial design.
Zuzana provides legal services in a number of sectors, including the fashion, cosmetics, perfumery, chemical and food industries, with a presence both in the Czech Republic and abroad through an extensive network of foreign representatives. She is also interested in new media protection and is an active member of the Anti-Counterfeiting Committee of ECTA and PTMG.
Education and Language skills
Zuzana obtained her bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Law at Comenius University in Bratislava and graduated from the University of Copenhagen, where she primarily focused on the study of intellectual property rights. Her thesis on non-patent incentives for pharmaceutical innovation demonstrates her deep interest and expertise in this field.
Zuzana is fluent in Czech, Slovak, and English. Her Slovak roots significantly benefit our IP protection and filing activities in Slovakia. Thanks to her stay in Scandinavia, innovation and IP protection have become her true passions.
